Summer ed-venture Camps
The Godfrey Park and Recreation Department is excited to be offering a series of summer day camp classes, designed for children entering Kindergarten through the 5th grade. Each class will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon daily at Glazebrook Park. Campers should have with them each day: backpack, water bottles, a hat for shade, sunscreen, bug spray, snack and comfortable clothing and shoes that they can get dirty.
The fee for each half-day, week-long camp is $75 per child for residents and $85 per child for nonresidents. The camp registration fee includes all activities and materials as well as an Ed-ventures t-shirt (one per summer). Participats must pre-register. The registration deadline for each camp is ONE WEEK before the camp begins. A minimum of 12 campers is needed to hold each camp session.
All camp sessions will be developed and organized by Sherry Droste, classroom teacher and outdoor educator. Below are the details of each camp session.
