TOWN OF GODFREY, THE BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES met at the office of the Town Clerk at 6810 GODFREY ROAD on April 4, 2006.

The Godfrey Town Board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Mueller on April 4, 2006, at 7:05 p.m. at the Godfrey Town Hall, 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, IL.
Jeff Weber moved for the approval of the minutes of March 7, 2006, seconded by Eldon Williams. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried.
APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF BILLS
Michael Walters moved for the approval of the March 2006 Township bills as follows:

COMMUNICATIONS
Clerk Whisler reported on the Annual Town Meeting, April 11, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
FY2006 BUDGET LINE ITEM TRANSFER
Supervisor Mueller reported the need for a line item transfer from the General Fund – Training-Assessor Five Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($515.00) to the Salary –Assessor Assistant. The adjusted appropriation would be General Fund, Training-Assessor – Nine Hundred Eight-Five Dollars ($985.00) and Salary-Assessor Assistant Twenty-six Thousand Eight Hundred Twenty-seven Dollars ($26,827.00). Mark Stewart moved for the approval of the Line Item Transfer from the General Fund as submitted, seconded by Jeff Weber. Roll Call Vote: Ayes- Juhlin, Williams, Walters, Stewart, McCormick, Weber, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent-None. Motion carried.
Supervisor Mueller reported a second line item transfer from the General Fund –Training-Assessor of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) to the Unemployment Insurance. The adjusted appropriation would be Training- Assessor– Nine Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars ($965.00) and Unemployment Insurance - One Hundred Forty Dollars ($ 140.00). Michael Walters moved for the approval of the line item transfer from the General Fund as submitted, seconded by Maurice Juhlin. Roll Call Vote: Ayes- Juhlin, Williams, Walters, Stewart, McCormick, Weber, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent-None. Motion carried.
Supervisor Mueller reported a line item transfer from the General Assistance Fund –Capital Outlay-Computer Software-Administration of Ten Dollars ($10.00) to the Unemployment Insurance. The adjusted appropriation would be Capital Outlay-Computer Software-Administration–Five Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($575.00) and Unemployment Insurance - One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($ 125.00). Trustee Walters moved for the approval of the line item transfer from the General Assistance Fund as submitted, seconded by Jeff Weber. Roll Call Vote: Ayes- Juhlin, Williams, Walters, Stewart, McCormick, Weber, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent-None. Motion carried.
SPECIAL MEETING 2006-2007 BUDGET
Supervisor Mueller reported that the 2006-2007 Township Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the Township Board of Trustees would be considered at a Special Meeting, May 16, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. Supervisor Mueller handed out the final draft of 2006-2007 Budget to the trustees. The total for the Township Budget is $204,046 and increase of 4.4% from last year.
OPEN FORUM-PUBLIC
Supervisor Mueller recognized Michael Cook, Troop 16, who is working on a Boy Scout merit badge.
Michael Walters moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:12 p.m., seconded by Mark Stewart. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried.
