TOWN OF GODFREY, THE BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES met at the office of the Town Clerk at 6810 GODFREY ROAD on June 6, 2006.

The Godfrey Town Board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Mueller on May 16, 2006, at 6:30 p.m. at the Godfrey Town Hall, 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, IL.
Mark Stewart moved for the approval of the minutes of April 4, 2006 meeting, seconded by Maurice Juhlin. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried
Mike McCormick moved for the approval of the minutes of May 2, 2006 meeting, seconded by Mark Stewart. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried
Michael Walters moved for the approval of the minutes of May 16, 2006 Special meeting, seconded by Michael McCormick. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried
APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF BILLS
Mark Stewart moved for the approval of the May 2006 Township bills as follows:
General Fund $9,498.19
General Assistance Fund $5,904.90
Social Security Fund $ 0.00
Audit Fund $ 0.00
Insurance Fund $ 0.00
IMRF Fund $1,198.28
Seconded by Maurice Juhlin. Roll Call Vote: Ayes-Juhlin, Williams, Walters, Stewart, McCormick, Weber, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent-None. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
Supervisor Mueller reported on communication received in the Township offices: a letter from Hughes & Associates, Inc. regarding the Township audit for 2005. Clerk Whisler reported on the Secretary of State, Driver License Facility at the Village Hall, June 8, 2006.
ORDINANCE GT-02-2006 PREVAILING WAGES ORDINANCE
Jeff Weber moved for the approval of Ordinance GT-02-2006, An Ordinance Establishing Prevailing Wages for the Godfrey Township, seconded by Maurice Juhlin. Roll Call Vote: Ayes-Juhlin, Williams, Walters, Stewart, McCormick, Weber, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent-None. Motion carried.
RESCHEDULING OF JULY 3, 2006 BOARD MEETING
Supervisor Mueller reported that due to the holiday the July 3, 2006 Board meeting needs to be rescheduled to July 5, 2006. Jeff Weber moved to reschedule the July 3, 2006 meeting to July 5, 2006 due to the holiday, seconded by Maurice Juhlin. Roll Call Vote: Ayes-Juhlin, Williams, Walters, Stewart, McCormick, Weber, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent-None. Motion carried.
Mark Stewart moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:40 p.m., seconded by Jeff Weber. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried.
