TOWN OF GODFREY, THE BOARD OF TOWN TRUSTEES met at the office of the Town Clerk at 6810 GODFREY ROAD on November 6, 2006.
Roll Call:
Douglas M. Mueller, Supervisor Pamela E. Whisler, Town Clerk
Maurice Juhlin, Trustee Eldon C. Williams, Trustee
Mark Stewart, Trustee Michael J. McCormick, Trustee
Jeff Weber, Trustee Jerry Gibson, Trustee
The Godfrey Town Board meeting was called to order by Supervisor Mueller on November 6, 2006, at 6:47 p.m. at the Godfrey Town Hall, 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, IL.
Mike McCormick moved for the approval of the minutes of October 3, 2006 meeting, seconded by Jeff Weber. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried
APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF BILLS
Mark Stewart moved for the approval of the October 2006 Township bills as follows:
General Fund $9,926.08
General Assistance Fund $3,706.17
Social Security Fund $ 0.00
Audit Fund $2,000.00
Insurance Fund $ 0.00
IMRF Fund $1,215.33
Seconded by Mike McCormick. Roll Call Vote: Ayes-Juhlin, Williams, Stewart, McCormick, Weber, Mueller. Nays-None, Absent-None. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS
Supervisor Mueller reported on the November 7, 2006 Election.
Clerk Whisler reported that petitions are available for the three (3) positions for Trustees.
TAX LEVY 2006
Supervisor Mueller presented the proposed tax levy 2006 increases as follows:

$5,000 $7,500
Under 5%
After some discussion, the Board recommended no more than 5% tax levy. Supervisor Mueller will prepare and present the tax levy for 2006 at the next meeting for consideration.
Jerry Gibson moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:50 p.m., seconded by Mike McCormick. Poll of Board: Ayes-7, Nays-0, Absent-0. Motion carried.
