NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Village of Godfrey will hold an open house public hearing for the proposed Crosstown Road, which is a proposed new roadway extending from Illinois Route 3 at Clifton Terrace to US Route 67 at Montclair Ave. in Godfrey, Madison County, Illinois. The public hearing will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 18th, 2010, at the Village Hall, located at 6810 Godfrey Road, Godfrey, Illinois. Representatives from the Village and the consulting firms will be available throughout the meeting to discuss the project and answer questions. Related exhibits, maps, and handouts will be available for public review. There will be no formal presentation. Project representatives will be available to address topics such as the need for the project, design alternatives considered, environmental resources, right-of-way acquisition and relocation assistance. All interested persons are invited to attend and participate. The Environmental Assessment will be available for review at the hearing. Currently, the Environmental Assessment is available for public review at the Village Hall. The meeting room is accessible to persons with a disability. Disabled persons planning to attend this meeting who are in need of special accommodations, sign language interpretation, or other assistance, should notify the contact person by March 12th so reasonable accommodations can be made.
